Nice spacious room, effective heating, own entrance key

The entrance location is misleading. it feels abandoned and uninviting upon arrival!!! The surrounding area is poorly lit with graffiti which can be quite unsettling at night!!!

The room was relatively spacious, but cleanliness was lacking.

i had a great stay in brick lane! the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. my room had tea and coffee making facilities, a tv, and aircon, which made it super comfortable. the staff was really friendly and helpful. plus, it's just a short walk to the underground, making it so convenient for exploring. overall, a very positive experience!

The Budget Double Room offered a decent amount of space compared to other options in the area. Solid wifi connection kept me connected to the outside world.

The location is tucked away in a narrow alley, making it difficult to find, and the door looked like it had been through a graffiti art installation—definitely not welcoming. The room door had a large gap at the bottom, allowing a stream of light in that disrupted good sleep. Thin walls meant every noise from neighboring rooms was amplified, and the mattress felt like it belonged in a cheap spaceship—uncomfortable, to say the least. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with noticeable stains on the sheets and curtains. with no lift and heavy carpets on the stairs, moving luggage around was a workout I didn't sign up for.

I was super nervous about this after reading older reviews, but I loved the cozy vibe and the comfy bed was just what I needed for a quick rest. The atmosphere here really helps you unwind, and there's a cute little lounge area perfect for relaxing with a drink. Just keep in mind that finding the entrance was a bit tricky, but once you’re inside, it’s great! 😊

I booked a Budget Double Room for a short stay. The room was cozy and quite clean, which made settling in easy. I loved having tea and coffee making facilities. The air conditioning kept the room comfortable during my stay. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk to the tube station. I enjoyed exploring the vibrant Brick Lane, filled with fantastic food options. Although the room was clean, I noticed some wear and tear around the edges that could use attention. Access to the upper floors posed a challenge with the steep stairs, especially if carrying heavy luggage or for anyone with mobility issues. The staff were friendly, which added to the positive vibe. it met my needs, but the steep stairs may be off-putting for some travelers.

Perfect location!

We stayed for a night and the location was spot on. Right near Aldgate East tube and on Brick Lane—so much food around! The room was surprisingly spacious and super clean. Best shower I’ve had in a while with nice toiletries. Only bummer? The WiFi was a bit sketchy at times.

The lovely decor and air conditioning made my stay comfortable and cozy. The charming vibe of the area, along with easy access to the metro, felt like a warm embrace—perfect for us older folks!

Our family with one baby had a lovely stay. The room exceeded our expectations, cozy and well-equipped. The short walk to Aldgate East was a breeze, making it easy to explore. Staff were wonderful and helped us with our bags up two flights of stairs.

In my wife’s opinion, there could have been a few snacks available for late-night munchies.

Can just recommend for strolling around.

Clean room, comfortable bed with complimentary tea and coffee that made our stay enjoyable, and its perfect location just 10 minutes' walk from the metro made exploring the area very convenient.
